At DHE Parts (Diesel & Heavy Equipment Parts Inc.), we want you to be confident in every order. This policy explains when and how you can return parts, what to expect for refunds, and which items are not eligible for return. If you have any questions before purchasing, please contact us; our team is happy to confirm fitment and return eligibility in advance.
Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. Requests made after 30 days cannot be accepted. All returns require prior authorization (an RMA number) before shipping anything back; see “How to Start a Return” below.
Exchanges
DHE Parts does not offer product exchanges. If you ordered the wrong part, please follow the standard return process (subject to eligibility and applicable restocking fees) and place a new order.
Exchanges are only available in the following two situations:
- Wrong Item Shipped: If we sent you an incorrect part, we will ship the correct item at no cost once the wrong item is returned with an RMA number.
- Manufacturer Defect: If a part is confirmed defective under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty guidelines, we will arrange a replacement in accordance with those warranty terms.
Outside of these two situations, no exchanges will be processed.
Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- New, unused, and uninstalled
- In their original, undamaged packaging with all manuals, hardware, and included components
- Free of any markings, installation attempts, paint, or modification
- Accompanied by the original invoice or order number
Parts that have been installed, used, disassembled, or altered in any way are not eligible for return.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
For safety, sourcing, and manufacturer-policy reasons, the following are non-returnable:
- Electrical and electronic components (e.g., sensors, ECMs, solenoids, gauges) once the packaging is opened
- Special-order, custom, or made-to-order parts sourced specifically for your order
- Engine kits and gasket/seal sets once opened or partially used
- Items marked “Final Sale,” “Non-Returnable,” or “Clearance” on the product page
- Hazardous materials, fluids, chemicals, adhesives, and sealants
- Parts returned without prior return authorization (RMA)
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order on arrival. If an item arrives damaged or you received the wrong part, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging.
For incorrect items, we will ship the correct part at no cost once the return is received with a valid RMA number. For items confirmed defective under the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines, resolution will follow the applicable warranty terms and may include a replacement or refund. DHE Parts will cover return shipping in both cases.
Core Charges & Remanufactured Parts
Some remanufactured or rebuildable parts carry a refundable core charge. To receive a core refund, the old core must be returned within 30 days, must match the same part number, and must be rebuildable (not cracked, seized, or missing components). Core refunds are issued after the returned core is inspected and accepted.
Restocking Fee
Eligible returns may be subject to a 30% restocking fee, which is deducted from your refund. Restocking fees are waived when the return is due to our shipping error (wrong item sent) or a confirmed manufacturing defect.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective part. In those cases, DHE Parts will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method. We cannot process refunds for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.
How to Start a Return
Before shipping anything back, contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA):
- Email sales@dheparts.com or call (305) 988-0888
- Include your order number, the part(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
- We will reply with an RMA number and the return shipping address
- Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package and ship the item in its original packaging
Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm approval. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of inspection. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
International Returns
International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, and taxes, except where the return is due to our error or a defective item. Original international shipping charges and any import fees already paid are non-refundable.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have not yet shipped can usually be cancelled for a full refund. Once an order has shipped, our standard return process applies.
Warranty
This return policy is separate from any manufacturer or product warranty. Warranty claims, including exchange or replacement of defective parts, are handled according to the applicable manufacturer’s terms. For details, please see our Terms & Conditions or contact us.
